Jack Knight Hall

Jack Knight Hall, located in Calaveras Big Trees State Park, is a historic hall with original artisan timber trusses that is used as a popular event venue. As the on-call structural engineer for California State Parks historic structures, Linchpin provided engineering for a seismic upgrade of the building as well as repair design and detailing for trusses exhibiting deterioration or damage. All detailing was carefully developed and coordinated to ensure preservation of the original beauty of the building while ensuring the safety of its occupants.
