Linchpin was the structural engineer for the downtown Truckee 76 Station, designed by Dale Cox Architects. At the property line abbuting the neigboring fire station, the old masonry wall was required to remain. Linchpin designed seismic bracing for the essentially unreinforced masonry wall that had to remain in place. The new design included many commercial construction features. GLA Morris constructed the building, which is one of the nicest gas stations in the country.
The station won Revitalization Project of the Year 2015 from the Truckee Chamber of Commerce.
