NLTFPD Fire Station 11

After a competitive qualifications based procurement process, Linchpin Senior Principal Douglas Gadow, SE was selected by North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District to conduct a forensic engineering investigation into the cause of cracking of the slabs on grade at the fire station. Linchpin Senior Principal Doug Gadow presented his findings to the board at a public meeting. Cracking was due to a variety of conditions related to restraint to shrinkage.
